He oversees all of the news and technical content on SearchSecurity.com and is responsible for the news section of Information Security magazine. He has more than 12 years of journalism experience, and has spent more than seven years covering the security industry. Before joining TechTarget, Dennis spent six years at eWeek, where he served as a senior editor and later as news editor. He has won a number of awards for his reporting, including two national ASBPE awards and the inaugural Carnegie-Mellon University CyLab Cyber Security Journalism Award.

As the features editor at Information Security magazine, Marcia Savage writes and edits features. She has been a journalist for 17 years and has spent the last seven covering the information security industry. Before joining TechTarget in 2005, she was the West Coast bureau chief at both SC Magazine and CRN. In her five years at CRN, she covered microprocessors then led the publication’s security coverage. Previously, she worked at daily newspapers in Medford, Ore., and Davis, Calif., where her work won regional newspaper awards.

Prior to joining TechTarget, Rob was a newspaper reporter for five years at The Day in New London, Conn., where he wrote a variety of crime, general news, government and business stories while covering towns in Southeastern Connecticut. A military veteran, Rob served four years with the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Forces Police in Kaiserslautern Germany. He holds a degree in journalism from the University of Connecticut.
